If however you use a splitter button for odd/even gears he can stay in "high" mode and thus only get gears 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 with even the heaviest loads. Sure, his high speed acceleration will suffer but at least he won't have to push the button every time he wants to accelerate in the low gears and jump the shifter from slot 6 to slot 2.

If it was the engine, it'd change frequency regardless of speed, more or less. Its not a constant high pitch noise it really sound like beepings. I can hear the engine on top of it and i didnt notice a turbo. If thats the sound of the turbo on that truck im selling it right away lol.

When set up correctly, they should start at nothing and move to maximum as you push the pedals. If that is not what happens I guess you have them reversed.

Truck wont move Hello there, I recently got a new truck in Euro Truck Simulator 2 and when I start it it wont either street or accelerate. RPM's stay at same level as when you start the truck. All brakes are off. For streeting, no matter if I use mouse or keyboard, the truck wont street. Blinkers, lights and gears can be changed but truck

Thank you all for the answers! I really appreciate it, well, I drive fast, but try do to it safely haha, sadly I won't be able to do that anymore. I think increasing it atleast to 160-170 would be a great idea, because trucks and cars at that speed still handle well, but that's just my 2 cents. Thanks for the answers!
