TYGR 300R: Soundwise these headphones has a bigger soundstage with way less treble and more boomy bass than the 990s. The imagine are superior to the 990s but the detail isn't as refined. These will be easier to drive and more easy to unexperienced ears. The comfort is good for long sessions.
