Range Rover Sport TDV6 2007 problems. Hi all i have some problems lately with my RRS. I have it for 5 years now and no problems at all with it. - and i notice that i hear a small weird sound, like someone would exhale when i drive in low gear and release gas pedal. It is like hhhhhhh, The 3.0 SDV6 and TDV6 engine problems are the results of the engine being maintained incorrectly, which has led to many internal problems and damages. Many drivers and owners are unaware of the dangers that come with using and servicing a 3.0 engine in the wrong way which can lead to costly repairs. Here is what we are going to cover:

V6 3.0 MY11. I changed mine and I can assure you you will not start it again without a bleed. I did it by placing a container under the Schrader valve and opening the valve with a small implement. Repeat this a number of times with ignition on/off cycle until the air is gone. The empty filter won t prime if you don t relieve the air pressure

Posts: 1. Discovery 3 cold start problem. I have a Disco 3 TDV6 HSE 06. During the very cold mornings I have found that when i start the engine it is very rough and lumpy when idle. I have no loss of power, nor is there any dark smoke from the exhaust. When the engine starts to heat up the problem goes and engine when idle is fine and smooth.
